What’s the opportunity?

As an Underground Service Crew Operator at Mungari, you'll play a critical role in keeping our underground operation running safely and efficiently. Working within a high-performing mining team, you'll be responsible for underground mine services, ventilation installation, ground support activities and a variety of tasks that directly contribute to production success.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone wanting to build a long-term underground mining career with a company that promotes from within and supports progression into specialist and leadership roles.

Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you will

• Install and maintain underground mine services and ventilation infrastructure.
• Install and remove secondary ventilation fans.
• Construct ventilation walls and assist with underground infrastructure projects.
• Install, grout, plate and tension cable bolts.
• Assist with development and production activities across the mine.
• Operate underground mobile equipment, including nipper and truck duties when required.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and maintain equipment to a high standard.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and safety standards underground.
• Work collaboratively with mining, maintenance, technical services and geology teams.
• FIFO from Perth on an attractive 7 days on, 7 days off roster or Residential in Kalgoorlie with competitive local living allowances

You will have: Minimum 6 months Underground Service Crew experience backed up with current RPLs

• At least 2 years underground mining experience.
• Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence.
• Working at Heights certification.
• Ability to complete a current National Police Clearance.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• A positive attitude and willingness to grow your career.
