Last updated 1 August 2026

Peopleflow.ai Ltd trading as Mine Recruitment, 11 Ducketts Wharf, South Street, Bishop's Stortford, CM23 3AR is the data controller for personal data collected through minerecruitment.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have under the UK GDPR.

1. What we collect

Job alert subscribers: your email address, optionally your name, and the disciplines, countries and keywords you choose. If you reply to one of our emails, the contents of that reply.

Employers making an enquiry: your name, company, email address, phone number if you give it, and the details of the role or search criteria you send us.

Candidates in our recruitment database: where you have previously applied for a role through us or sent us your CV, we hold your contact details, CV and our notes on your application.

Technical data: we keep aggregate counts of how many people click through to apply for a given vacancy. This is not linked to your identity.

2. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

To send you the job alerts you asked for — consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link.

To respond to an employer enquiry and to provide advertising or recruitment services — performance of a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry.

To tell candidates already in our database about relevant mining vacancies — legitimate interests, on the basis that you came to us looking for exactly this kind of role. We will always tell you where we got your details and give you a one-click way out.

To measure how many candidates a vacancy attracts, so we can advise employers honestly — legitimate interests, using aggregated numbers only.

To meet our legal and accounting obligations — legal obligation.

3. Who we share it with

Our email, hosting, database and accounting providers, acting on our instructions under contract.

An employer or client, only where you have asked us to represent you for a role, or where you have applied to a vacancy we advertise on that employer's behalf. We do not sell your data to anyone, ever.

Where we use a supplier outside the UK, transfers are covered by the UK's adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Addendum.

When you click an apply link, you leave our site and the employer's own privacy policy applies to what you submit there.

4. How long we keep it

Job alert subscriptions: until you unsubscribe, or after two years of no engagement with our emails, whichever comes first.

Employer enquiries: for the duration of the relationship and six years afterwards, for tax and contractual record-keeping.

Candidate records: up to two years from our last meaningful contact with you, then deleted or anonymised, unless you ask us to keep them longer.

5. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to withdraw consent, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email us and we will respond within one month.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, though we would rather you gave us the chance to put it right first.

6. Cookies
