Employer Advertising Terms

Last updated 1 August 2026

These terms apply when you buy advertising or services from Peopleflow.ai Ltd trading as Mine Recruitment, 11 Ducketts Wharf, South Street, Bishop's Stortford, CM23 3AR through minerecruitment.com. They apply in addition to our Terms of Use, and they override anything to the contrary in your own purchase order or supplier terms unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

1. What you are buying

A job advertisement: publication of one vacancy on minerecruitment.com for the period stated at the point of purchase, including in our search results, the relevant category pages and, where the advert qualifies, our candidate job alert emails.

A talent lead list: a list of candidate profiles matching the criteria you give us, drawn from our own database and our own research. Priced per search and quoted before we start.

Recruitment services: a bespoke search, quoted separately, under our standard recruitment terms of business.

2. Advertising is not a guarantee of applicants

We sell exposure to a mining-specific audience. We do not guarantee any minimum number of views, clicks, applications, shortlisted candidates or hires, and no fee is refundable on the basis that a vacancy attracted fewer applicants than you hoped.

Response depends on factors outside our control, including the salary offered, the location, the roster and how hard the skill set is to find. Where an advert is underperforming we will tell you and offer help — that is a service, not an admission of failure to deliver.

3. Fees, VAT and payment

Prices are quoted exclusive of VAT. VAT at the prevailing UK rate is added where the supply is to a UK customer. Supplies to business customers outside the UK are outside the scope of UK VAT; you are responsible for any tax due in your own country, including under any reverse charge mechanism.

Advertising is payable in advance. The advert publishes once payment has cleared. Invoiced services are payable within 14 days of invoice date unless agreed otherwise in writing.

We may charge interest on late payment at 4% above the Bank of England base rate, and suspend live adverts while an account is overdue.

4. Credit of a talent list fee against a placement fee

Where we have agreed that a talent lead list fee is credited against a subsequent placement fee, the credit applies to the first placement we make with you from that list, is applied against our invoiced fee for that placement, has no cash value, and cannot be transferred to another company or set against any other invoice.

5. Your advert and your obligations

You confirm that each vacancy you advertise is genuine and currently open, that you are entitled to recruit for it, that the content is accurate, and that it complies with applicable law — including equality and non-discrimination law and, where relevant, the requirement not to charge candidates a fee for work-finding services.

You grant us a licence to reproduce your advert and company name and logo for the purpose of publishing and promoting the vacancy.

We may edit an advert for formatting, categorisation or length, and may remove any advert that breaches these terms. Where we remove an advert for a breach, no refund is due.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Adverts may be withdrawn by you at any time — for example when the role is filled — but the fee for the purchased period is not refundable once the advert has published.

If we fail to publish an advert you have paid for, your remedy is publication for the full purchased period or a refund of that fee, at your option.

Nothing here affects the statutory cancellation rights of a customer who is a consumer rather than a business.

7. Candidate data you receive from us

Where we provide candidate details, you must use them only to assess and contact those candidates for the role discussed, keep them confidential, comply with data protection law as an independent controller, and not add them to a general database, share them with a third party, or approach them about unrelated roles without their consent.

Introduction fees, where applicable, are set out in our recruitment terms of business and are triggered by an engagement of a candidate we introduced, whether or not the engagement is for the original role.

8. Liability

Our total liability arising out of or in connection with any purchase is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in question.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of an opportunity to hire, cost of a replacement supplier, or any loss arising from a candidate's suitability, conduct, references, qualifications or right to work. Verifying suitability and right to work is your responsibility as the employer.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

9. General

We may update these terms; the version published when you place an order applies to that order.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, with the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
