Full Time

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

To perform preventive maintenance on assigned mechanical systems to support efficient plant operation and reduce breakdowns and downtime.

ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Complete maintenance tasks safely by ensuring work permits and lock out procedures are in place before work starts.
• Carry out allocated maintenance within required time frames to support plant availability and production targets.
• Install, repair, clean and lubricate mechanical components to maintain reliable operation.
• Inspect equipment and support preventive maintenance activities to minimise downtime.
• Report spare parts shortages to the Foreman in a timely manner.
• ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Education & Qualification

• Mechanical Technician Part I & II, HND Mechanical Engineering, Motor Vehicle Technician Part I & II, or NVTI Apprenticeship.
• Valid driver’s license.

Experience

Minimum of 1-3 years working experience in a process plant.

Knowledge & Skills

• Good knowledge of crusher plant operations.
• Strong technical understanding of preventive maintenance.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality of work.
• Good interpersonal, written and communication skills.
• Medically fit for the position and work environment.
• Ability to drive a light vehicle.
