Job Description

This role is a fixed term contract for 12 months.

The FP&A Transformation Lead will lead the restructuring of the FP&A function across the Brands & Diamond Desirability (B&DD) business units and geographies to streamline the processes, overhaul the systems/tools and deliver improved reporting, forecasting and commercial decision support.  The role is accountable for delivering the new De Beers decentralized operating model to establish a standalone, sustainable Finance function that supports the broader business separation and sale readiness objectives.  This includes ensuring that the Business Unit and B&DD Central Finance teams have the processes, systems, suppliers, governance and expertise required to manage FP&A services and activities following transition, both internally within B&DD, and with the revised De Beers Group Finance function.

Working across all Business Units and Group functions, and in partnership with the B&DD Financial Controller, the role leads transformation planning, programme governance, transition execution, stakeholder engagement and organisational change activities to ensure the Finance function remains stable, resilient and operationally effective throughout the transformation journey.

The role will manage the B&DD FP&A function to oversee the full planning, budgeting and forecasting cycle for all the B&DD brands / business units.  The role acts as the senior strategic finance partner to senior business leaders, managing the FP&A team to provide insight into commercial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting the delivery of business objectives through robust financial analysis and planning to the De Beers London, Forevermark, Institute of Diamonds and Category Marketing business units across UK, US, EU, India and China.

Working closely with leadership teams across global markets and corporate functions, the FP&A Manager will drive a data-led approach to decision making, ensuring the business has clear visibility of performance, financial risks, investment priorities and future growth opportunities.

The role acts as the key contact between B&DD and the De Beers Group Finance function in terms of consolidation, reporting and forecasting for B&DD, managing the data flows and driving continuous improvements in the planning processes.

• Recommend and drive improvements in FP&A processes including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning across multiple geographies and business units.
• Identify and implement opportunities to streamline reporting processes, reduce cycle times, and improve data accuracy and accessibility.
• Collaborate with central and cross-functional teams to enhance finance systems and tools, ensuring they support scalable and efficient operations.
• Deliver quick wins and long-term impact by improving visibility into financial performance and enabling faster, data-driven decision-making.
• Act as a change agent, championing best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the finance function.
• Support the integration of new technologies and automation tools to enhance finance capabilities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to finance teams during transformation projects, ensuring stakeholder engagement and successful adoption

Qualifications

• Proven experience in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning within complex, fast-moving businesses — ideally in retail or consumer-facing sectors.
• Professional finance qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Demonstrated success in leading finance transformation projects and system implementations in a multinational, matrixed environment.
• Strong track record of streamlining processes, reducing reporting timelines, and enhancing decision-making.
• Strong financial modelling and forecasting expertise
• Hands-on experience with finance systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
• Strong analytical mindset with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving and change management.
• Strong team leadership skills
