To manage and oversee all project commercial-related activities for Kamoa (smelter, debottlenecking, phase 3, plant, infrastructure, mining, bulk power), Kipushi & Platreef projects. Ensure completion within the time and cost limit and to the agreed specifications and safety standards. The incumbent leads specialists and contractors involved in the project planning, cost control, procurement, logistics, contracts and document control to ensure successful completion.
Drive best in class across Project Controls department through processes standardization and improvements.
Role Specific Knowledge: Mining experience specifically massive mining
- Experience executing projects in the DRC
- Experience across different construction disciplines
- Project controls management experience
- EPCM contractor experience
- Project management
Contract management
Execution experience on Owners team
5 - years of mining and project experience in a senior management role. Excellent track record and similar experience in African countries are highly advantageous. Proficiency in French and English beneficial.
Degree or Diploma in engineering or commerce.
Technical Skills should include: Computer literacy - MS Office
MS Project or P6
Presentation skills
