Your Impact

As an Officer, Sourcing Services, you will play a key role in keeping Newmont’s global sourcing operations running smoothly. By maintaining accurate supplier data and supporting process improvements, you’ll help ensure we make informed, timely, and cost-effective supply chain decisions.

As Part of Our Team, You Will

  • Collect, maintain, and reconcile supplier data on cost, quality, delivery, and sustainability.
  • Provide accurate performance information to meet sourcing service standards.
  • Support process improvements and new tool implementations to streamline workflows.
  • Assist in auditing and monitoring activities to resolve data quality issues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across teams to improve sourcing efficiency.
  • Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
  • Education: Technical qualification or degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or Business Administration.
  • Experience: 1+ year in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations (shared services experience preferred).
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP/Ariba preferred) and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Process Knowledge: Understanding of sourcing processes and supply chain fundamentals.
  • High attention to detail and adherence to structured workflows.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Your Work Environment

You will be part of Newmont’s Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Costa Rica, working within the Corporate function. The role is people-focused and involves cross-functional collaboration with global stakeholders across People, Finance, IT, and Supply Chain teams.

While the position is intended to be hybrid, as we establish our foundation, we will begin on-site to foster strong relationships, align our strategies, and ensure a solid framework for long-term success.

  • This role is for the day shift schedule.
  • Compensation will be aligned with the local Costa Rican market and paid in Costa Rican colones (CRC).
