We operate a 12-month (September 2027 - August 2028) student placement programme within our Formula E R&D group. This is an exciting opportunity where you will work with highly skilled and experienced engineering professionals and graduates who you can learn and develop with - the more questions you ask the more you will gain from your experience. It is important to know that many of our industrial placements have been successful in obtaining graduate roles on completion of their degree.

What you will do

Develop and execute structured test plans for powertrain, chassis, and other critical components.Learn about & assist with maintenance & upgrades for our Real-Time PlatformsUtilize data acquisition systems and software to collect and interpret test results.Identify performance trends, inefficiencies, and areas for development.Work with R&D engineering team to present test results and recommendations to relevant partiesMaintain documentation regarding test procedures & processes to enable the department to run safely & efficiently.

• Overall, you will contribute to make our car faster, more reliable and more efficient.

Next Steps

Those students that are shortlisted will be invited to attend an assessment. It is expected that the student takes sole responsibility for making suitable travel and accommodation arrangements.
